1952 - 53 Weber 45 DOE carburettors. The four single-choke Weber 45 DOE carburettors were fitted to the Ferrari 500 F2 for the 1952 and first half of the 1953 season and later in 1954 some 625 F1 cars. In 1953 they were fitted to Mike Hawthorn´s Ferrari 500 which he raced to victory at the British Grand Prix, the Ulster Trophy and the French Grand Prix. They were replaced by twin-choke 50 DCO instruments for the second half of the 1953 season
