Finished in 'Snowcrest White' this example presents immaculate showing minimal wear cosmetically. The surrounding chrome trim mouldings are polished, gleaming and highlight the car beautifully.

An interior fitted with a vinyl and cloth two-toned 'Seal & Madison Grey' trim, this two-seater was spacious, classy and featured a dash of chrome tipped instruments. The exterior of the vehicle is finished in white and blissfully showcases the upgraded physical features from the Holden FB.

Featuring an In-line six-cylinder 138-cid 2.3L engine, this example is pulled through a 3-speed manual transmission, offering an all-round better driving experience with compliment from the Holden recirculating ball-type steering wheel.

The Holden EK series was produced in Australia between 1961-1962. The release of this series was a facelifted version to its predecessor, the Holden FB. The EK range offered either four door sedans with two trim levels, five door wagons in two trim levels, a two-door coupe utility and lastly a two-door panel Van. The reconstruction to the release of the EK now offered new body side mouldings as well as a new grille that featured eight vertical bars instead of the previous six.

The defining change from the FB to the EK was the introduction of Holden's first automatic transmission, marketed as a 'Hydra-Matic' it was a three-speed gearbox that was imported from the US and only offered as an option to the 'Special' Holden models. To all the other models of the EK, they were fitted with a manual transmission.
