Vacheron&Constantin Geneve were made in several sizes, starting at 30mm in diameter, not including the crown. The majority were 32 and 33mm with some 34mm. Very rarely, Vacheron&Constantin case makers produced 36mm models such as the example we see here. These are highly sought after watches because the seemingly small difference in size is significant and adds to the ‘presence’ of the watch. The case made from 18k solid yellow gold, has polished finishings. The case measuring approximately around 36 mm across excluding the crown and 43mm from lug to lug in very good condition, with minor surface scratches that are to be expected on any watch of this age. The case back number 366129, hallmarked as 18k gold 750. At the heart of this watch is a legendary high grade manual winding cal. P454/5B with 18 jewels. Runs great and all functions work as expected of vintage watch. This model features a cream color original dial with beautiful gold indexes and special disign, signed "Vacheron&Constantin","Geneve", in good vintage condition. A beautiful hour, minute and seconds hands grace the dial. The watch is presented on new vintage grey neutral leather strap around 23mm including watch case with neutral buckle.
