WH23U2A141321
Estimate:
$ 40,000 - $ 50,000 US
This 1972 Dodge Charger has many of the appearance traits of the Rallye model which came from the factory with all of the standard Charger equipment, plus sway bars front and rear, special instrumentation and louvered taillights. Various exterior styling cues are seen with blackout treatment on the grille, hood and rear fascia. Simulated door louvers, simulated woodgrain instrument panel and four hooded circular gauges also help identify the Rallye model.
This particular car is powered by a 440-cid V-8 with a single four-barrel carb and is paired with an automatic transmission. Among the equipment is hidden headlights, Rallye wheels, Goodyear Polyglas GT tires, front spoiler, vinyl top, 440 Magnum badging on the hood, power steering, power brakes, plus the aforementioned black-out detail.
The owner reports this as a “survivor” that has “everything original except period-correct tires and battery.” It is further reported to be a two-owner car that is accompanied by “multiple build sheets, factory window sticker and original bill of sale." While the owner expresses that he feels the approximate 39,000 miles on the odometer are original to the car; the title lists this as exempt.
