Very fine, yellow gold pocket watch with fusee and chain and
verge escapement. Made circa 1771.
Two-body, later, back and bezel covered with tortoiseshell
and decorated with studs.Engraved "R G"
White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute
division with five-minute Arabic numerals, gold spade
hands.
17''', gilt full-plate with large divided Egyptian pillars, fusee
and chain, verge escapement, under-sprung plain three-
arm steel balance with flat balance spring, single-footed
winged cock pierced and finely engraved with symmetrical
stylized foliage, mask in the neck, rack and pinion regulator
with silver dial.
