Throughout 356B production Porsche introduced some of the most significant developments ever made on the 356. Improvements were focused upon handling, ride and refinement as well as their little sportscar’s sparkling performance. The reliability was further enhanced whilst Porsche also made a few subtle aesthetic tweaks, all of which upped the original car’s appeal and firmly established it as by far the best car in its class. The 356B also marked the arrival of a new body style, the Roadster, which replaced Porsche‘s much-loved Speedster and subsequent Convertible D.
