It’s not just the glorious good looks of the 300 SL Gullwings and Roadsters that make them such sought-after classics today, it’s also the outstanding performance and reliability of these models that have caused their values to soar. Here we have a ‘matching numbers’ example that once belonged to 300 SL restoration expert Steve Marx, now freshly serviced and sorted by Mercedes specialist Jim Cosgrove’s Old Time Restoration Center. The car comes complete with its tool roll, jack and owner’s manuals.
