Celebrating 20 years of Daniel Arsham’s work

Our completely restored 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera conceptualized by artist and Porsche collector Daniel Arsham, in collaboration with artist and mechanical whiz Greg Anagnostopoulos.  Deconstructed at The Morton Street Partners Gallery, and subsequently reassembled in the Emmanuel Perrotin gallery, the Carrera quite literally an art piece and so named "Sculpture," as it Daniel's interpretation and enhancement of the already iconic Porsche design.

While far too many restoration details to list here, (we’re happy to email the build sheet,) the project was all encompassing and starting with an exceptional and low mileage USA 3.2 Carrera, rebuilding the original engine and updating the displacement to 3.4 litre with Mahle high compression pistons, cylinders, rings, machining of cylinder heads, new valve guides seals, chain guides and tentioners, transmission overhaul and reseal, clutch flywheel and and pressure plate, new Porsche brake rotors, springs, trailing arms, steering rack rebuild, SSI stainless exhaust manifold, heat exchangers and muffler, fully color changed to the magnificent Porsche color Coppa Florio Blue with matching Fuchs alloy wheels, the complete interior trimmed in Arsham blue by Hamburg, Germany Porsche upholstery specialist Justin Placek, with the tri-color blue seats inspired by the 959, reassembled in the New York City Perrotin gallery and exhibited in autumn 2023 to celebrate 20 years of Daniel Arsham’s work, with just 600 miles since the project’s completion, Porsche collector and artist Daniel Arsham’s 911 Carrera “Sculpture” is in as-new condition throughout.
