History:
Sublime in its elegance and refinement, the Lancia Aurelia B20 GT is one of the great post-war coupes. Produced from 1951 to 1958 in only 3,871 units, it was designed by Gianpaolo Boano and built at Pininfarina. It introduced the V6 in series production and, from the 4th series, received a De Dion rear axle. Driving it is a delight of lightness and precision, which makes it one of the most emblematic GTs of its era.

This example is one of the last built of the 6th series. It is equipped from new with left-hand drive (B20 S for “Sinistra”) and the floor-mounted gear lever. According to the seller, it is in its original configuration and has undergone a high-quality restoration carried out in Italy, covering the entire bodywork, mechanicals, running gear and cabin. It is listed in the reference book Lancia Aurelia Gran Turismo by Gino Giugno and Loris Chioetto. Imported to France, it has been registered under a French “collector’s vehicle” registration document since 12 April 2019, in the name of its current owner.

Condition:
This Lancia Aurelia B20 is in very good overall presentation condition.

🚘 The bodywork is metallic grey, uniform and glossy. The chrome trim (bumpers, grille) and the wheels with hubcaps are well presented, bright and in excellent condition. The right front wing and the rear trunk, outside and inside, were refurbished and repainted in 2023, with a new trunk seal fitted.

Inside, the dashboard is in excellent condition, as is the upholstery, whose blue and beige leather is immaculate.

⚙️ The engine is healthy and the gearbox works without a hitch. The V6 has had several interventions in France: valve clearance adjustment and replacement of the brake master cylinder pressure sensor in 2018, and rework of the rear wiring harness to return it to original configuration at that time. The cooling system was refurbished in 2020 (radiator repaired, water pipe gaskets remade). An electrical fault was traced and repaired (stalks, ventilation, wipers) in 2018.
