Description

Estimated Price: £14,000 - £18,000

  • Launched in 1936 as successor to the PB Midget, the TA was longer in the wheelbase and altogether roomier. This example wears red paintwork over a red leather interior, with wire wheels, a tonneau cover and excellent hood and side screens
  • Fitted with a TB (1,250cc XPAG) engine, it benefits from Hartford period front sport dampers, an uprated higher ratio rear differential (for more relaxed cruising) and electronic ignition
  • Following an older ground up restoration, we are reliably informed the car was given a major mechanical refurbishment ahead of the Land’s End Trial in April 2026, including a rebuilt front axle and steering box, new rear springs and refurbished brakes
  • A set of old tax discs from 1979 to 2003 accompanies the car, and a photographic record of the restoration and gearbox rebuild is on file
  • Used only at a couple of events and shows since, it is described as 'turnkey and ready for shows, touring and rallies'
