Named in honour of Sergio Scaglietti, the celebrated coachbuilder who helped shape some of Ferrari’s most iconic competition cars, the 612 Scaglietti was styled by Pininfarina and drew inspiration from the legendary 375 MM commissioned by film director Roberto Rossellini for Ingrid Bergman. Its flowing proportions and sculptural surfaces brought timeless Italian elegance to a thoroughly modern Ferrari.
Beneath its aluminium bodywork lies a 5.7-litre naturally aspirated V-12 producing 533 horsepower, supported by an aluminium spaceframe chassis and transaxle. The desirable HGTC (Handling Gran Turismo Competizione) package further elevates the experience by introducing a revised sports exhaust, recalibrated suspension, more responsive F1 transmission programming, and upgraded braking components. Capable of accelerating from 0–100 km/h in approximately 4.2 seconds and reaching a top speed of around 320 km/h, the 612 combines formidable performance with the comfort and composure expected of a flagship Ferrari grand tourer.
Originally commissioned for Prince Faisal Bin Fahad Al Saud and supplied new by Modena Cars SA in Geneva, Switzerland, the 612 Scaglietti offered here is distinguished by an exceptionally considered factory specification. Its special-order Grey Violet finish is complemented by the HGTC package, 19-inch modular wheels, and Scuderia wing shields. The cabin is trimmed in Cuoio leather, with Daytona seats and extensive Alcantara detailing across the dashboard and central tunnel. Further bespoke touches include personalised steering wheel and rear shelf finishes, contrasting stitching, a yellow tachometer, and Alpine high-resolution navigation.
Under previous ownership, the car received a repaint in its factory-correct Grey Violet to address minor cosmetic wear. Showing 58,275 kilometres on its odometer at the time of cataloguing, the car is accompanied by its Ferrari Vehicle Identification Passport, owner’s books, service records, tools, and Ferrari car cover.
An understated, highly distinguished V-12 grand tourer, it embodies the quieter side of Ferrari ownership, where elegance is expressed not through ostentation, but in the subtlety of its specification.
