The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is the second entry in Ferrari's Icona series, and its design is a masterclass in aerodynamic purity. Led by senior designer Jason Furtado under chief designer Flavio Manzoni, every surface was shaped with intention-from the dramatically pinched waist that accelerates airflow along the flanks, to the door intakes that route air deliberately through the body, to the full-width rear spoiler and horizontal strakes managing everything that exits the car. Remarkably, Ferrari achieved all of its aerodynamic targets without a single active element. No flaps, no dynamic wings-just form solving for speed.

The Ferrari Speedform you see here makes that invisible work visible. Produced by Ferrari's Centro Stile design studio, this 40-percent scale wind tunnel model is the physical visualization of the Daytona SP3's velocity vector field-the actual aerodynamic data rendered in paint and carbon fiber. Elevated above a mirror base on four aluminum pylons, it is elevated to expose the undercarriage, where the ground effect channeling tells the other half of the aerodynamic story. Finished in a palette of historic Ferrari colors, Rosso Corsa, Rosso Dino, Signal Green, Bianco Avus, Giallo Modena, Blu Laguna, and, Nero, it is as much scientific artifact as collectible artwork. Naturally, with such accuracy and production by Centro Stile, Ferrari formally recognizes the Daytona SP3 Speedform as a significant piece of ownership, and an undeniable part of any collector's relationship with the marque.
