This attractive example was custom-built to evoke the spirit of the legendary prewar Harley-Davidson Knucklehead. It is constructed around an aftermarket frame and S&S engine block fitted with an S&S Knucklehead-style top end for authentic period visual impact. The specification includes an electric start and 12-volt electrics, a hand-shift linkage that connects to the bike's foot-operated gearshift, and disc brakes for increased stopping power. These thoughtful additions make the motorcycle considerably more approachable while preserving the unmistakable appearance and character of a classic American V-twin. Originally constructed by the long-standing Long Island-based shop Lighthouse Harley-Davidson, this example is a tribute to one of the most charismatic motorcycle designs in American history.
