The Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6 is one of the great icons of the air cooled 911 era. Introduced during the final years of the 964, it was the most powerful version of the classic rear wheel drive Porsche Turbo. Porsche built just 1,587 examples worldwide. Of the 938 cars in the final production series, only 650 were built for the European market. This car is number 118 of that European series.

And then came Bad Boys. The black 964 Turbo 3.6 that Will Smith drove through Miami became one of the most recognisable film cars of the 1990s. For an entire generation, it was the Porsche to dream about. Black Metallic paint, an all black leather interior, the wide Turbo body and three piece Speedline wheels: this car has exactly that look. All that is missing is the Miami sunshine and a police badge.

This Turbo 3.6 was built in Stuttgart on 15 February 1993 and delivered new through Porsche Zentrum München. Its C00 country code confirms its German market origin. It remains in its original colour combination of Black Metallic, paint code L744, with a full black leather interior. Today it sits on desirable three piece Speedline for Porsche wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres.

The factory specification is extensive. Options include heated and electrically adjustable front seats, a limited slip differential, 18 inch RS Cup wheels, a 90 litre fuel tank, an electric sliding and tilting sunroof, air conditioning, power steering and an onboard computer. It was also ordered with driver and passenger airbags, headlight washers, a rear window wiper, an alarm system and a tinted windscreen with a shaded top band. Both the front and rear seats are fully upholstered in leather, while the luggage compartment is trimmed in velour.

The odometer currently reads 114,335 km. The car comes with an extensive history file, including its original service book, owner’s manuals, factory option information, Belgian registration documents, Car-Pass, historic Italian documents and invoices from Porsche Centres and specialists. Wheel alignment reports and paint thickness readings are also present. Both its history and mileage progression are well documented.

For the past ten years, this Porsche has belonged to a Belgian cycling icon who is also a passionate car enthusiast and a true perfectionist.
