Following the critical acclaim of the 360 Challenge Stradale in the early 2000s, Ferrari sought to replicate the success by producing a harder-edged and faster version of their latest supercar, the F430. None other than seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher was enlisted to assist the engineers in Maranello with development. Just two years after the launch of F430, the man himself unveiled the 430 Scuderia at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show.
The upgrades were numerous throughout. The naturally aspirated 4.3-litre V-8 received higher-compression pistons, new exhaust manifolds, and revisions to the cooling. That increased output to 510 brake horsepower, 25 more than standard. Hardware and software revisions for the F1-SuperFast 2 paddle-shift transmission meant that gearchanges were over in just 60 milliseconds, enabling the 430 Scuderia to reach 60 mph from a standstill in just 3.3 seconds before topping out at 198 mph.
Reducing weight was also key to the philosophy of the 430 Scuderia. The normal leather-laden interior was stripped down, a Lexan engine cover replaced the glass item, and bespoke lightweight alloy wheels were fitted. This helped the car shed a staggering 100 kilograms. In addition, having been lowered by 15 millimetres, further to sporting a new rear diffuser and larger rear spoiler, the 430 Scuderia reportedly lapped faster around Fiorano than the flagship Enzo.
Completed in May 2008, this 430 Scuderia is one of just 165 examples completed in right-hand drive for the United Kingdom. It was specified in Rosso Corsa, with the optional racing stripe, over a Nero Alcantara interior featuring carbon fibre seats. The lightweight wheels were factory-finished in gold and complemented by Giallo Modena brake callipers.

Per the accompanying Warranty Card, the 430 Scuderia was supplied to its first owner via official Ferrari dealership Stratstone Manchester on 17 July 2008. Through to March 2024, the car has been maintained by a host of respected specialists, including Graypaul Nottingham, Meridien Modena, and Dick Lovett Swindon, prior to returning to Stratstone Manchester. Most recently, in June 2025, the 430 Scuderia was serviced by Simon Furlonger. Further offered with its owner’s guides and manuals in their folio, tool and tyre inflator kits, plus indoor cover, the car displayed a mere 5,938 miles at the time of cataloguing.
