In 1967, Peter Monteverdi turned a split from Ferrari into a marque of his own. He paired Swiss engineering with American V8 muscle and Italian coachwork, first by Frua and later by Fissore. Within the resulting High Speed 375 family, the 375/4 stood apart as the four-door coach-built limousine, built to carry five passengers in comfort at a grand touring pace.

Believed to be one of less than 30 375/4s ever built, chassis number 3115 is powered by the marque's stalwart 7.2-liter Chrysler Magnum 440 V8, producing 375 SAE hp and coupled to the optional three-speed automatic.

First registered in Switzerland in February 1975, it passed through two Swiss owners before its acquisition by the current collector in 2016, who oversaw a complete concours-level restoration in silver grey metallic over new black leather between 2016 and 2020. Maintained to a concours standard in the years since, the 375/4 has continued to appear on the judging field at events including the Concours d'Elegance in Zürich and Baden-Baden, a fitting testament to its impeccable presentation.

The rare Swiss-built car shows approximately 69,000 kilometers at cataloging, believed to be original, and was serviced most recently in July 2026 by M&R Automobile. It ranks among the most coveted of Monteverdi's Swiss coach-built automobiles, offered today as a remarkable statement of Basel's singular grand touring ambition.
