With its characteristic front-opening door, bubble-shaped body and minimalist engineering, the Isetta quickly became a symbol of efficiency and ingenuity. Between 1955 and 1962, BMW produced more than 160,000 Isettas, a model that quite literally secured the marque's survival. Today, the Isetta has grown into a highly sought-after collector's item and an absolute crowd favourite at events.
