This exceptionally late-production 1975 BMW 3.0 CSi E9 was completed on 2 December 1975, making it one of the final 55 examples produced.
Presented in its original Polaris Silver 060 over a beautifully preserved Marineblau interior, this example combines a highly desirable specification with excellent provenance. Equipped with the sought-after five-speed manual transmission and factory air conditioning, it was delivered new through BMW Austria on 11 December 1975 and remained in Austria until 2022.
The car has since undergone an extensive and fully documented restoration, carried out with particular emphasis on preserving originality wherever possible. The body was comprehensively restored and refinished in its factory Polaris Silver, while the chrome and brightwork were renewed to an equally high standard.
Much of the original interior has been retained, including several distinctive late-production E9 details. The wood trim and electrical system have also been carefully restored, preserving the authentic character of the car while bringing its presentation to a very high standard.
Mechanically, the original 3.0-litre fuel-injected straight-six has been comprehensively rebuilt while retaining its factory pistons. The cylinder head, Bosch D-Jetronic fuel-injection system, suspension, braking system and driveline have all received extensive attention.
The rebuilt Getrag 262 five-speed gearbox is complemented by a limited-slip differential, while the original air-conditioning system has been fully restored and is operational.
The car is accompanied by more than 400 photographs documenting the restoration, detailed invoices, its BMW Classic Birth Certificate, ownership and service history, original toolkit, ASI certification and Italian registration.
With its exceptionally late production date, original colour combination, desirable five-speed transmission, factory air conditioning and comprehensively documented restoration, this 1975 BMW 3.0 CSi E9 represents a particularly compelling opportunity for the discerning collector.
