When one of our bespoke Defenders returns to The Landrovers, something special happens. Every build carries its own story and character, shaped by the owner it was created for and the adventures it has made possible.

Gunner is one of those rare returning builds. A fully bespoke Land Rover Defender 110, handcrafted by The Landrovers in Amsterdam and built specifically for the US market. Now pre-owned and located in California, Gunner is ready for its next owner and a new chapter in int life.

Built without shortcuts

Gunner represents around 3,000 hours of craftsmanship, engineering and assembly, with virtually every element reconsidered along the way.

At its heart sits a Corvette LT1 V8 producing 525 HP, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. A quad-pipe exhaust gives the V8 its unmistakable character, while custom 18-inch deep-dish Tiger wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain tires underline Gunner’s purposeful stance.

The exterior combines a Porsche Black Olive body with an Alaska White roof, both finished in satin. An external roll cage and high-definition LED light bar complete the rugged exterior.

Inside, Gunner combines the Defender’s utilitarian origins with a far more refined level of comfort.
The upgraded and custom-built Puma front seats and second-row bench were redesigned and built to create additional legroom and a more comfortable seating position. They are upholstered in Sand Beige leather with diamond-pattern stitching, creating a warm contrast with Gunner’s dark exterior.

Like the rest of the vehicle, the cabin was not designed from a catalogue of standard options, It was created specifically for this Defender.

Gunner was specifically built for the American market and currently resides in California. This makes it a rare opportunity to acquire a fully realised Defender by The Landrovers in the United States without beginning the complete design and build process from scratch.

Our bespoke Defenders rarely return to the market. When they do, we handle the resale ourselves. Each returning Defender is carefully inspected and reviewed by our team, from drivetrain and engineering to interior and exterior detailing, before being offered to its next owner.

The result is not simply a used Defender. It is a one-off The Landrovers build, ready to continue the story it was created for.
