Urus Performante

The Lamborghini Urus Performante was unveiled in August 2022 as the most performance-focused evolution of Lamborghini’s original Super SUV.

Rather than simply increasing engine output, Lamborghini substantially revised the chassis, aerodynamics, suspension and weight of the Urus to create a sharper and considerably more driver-focused model.

Its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 produces 666 CV and 850 Nm, allowing the Performante to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.3 seconds and reach 306 km/h.

The standard Urus air suspension was replaced by a firmer steel-spring setup, while a revised Torsen centre differential, active rear torque vectoring, four-wheel steering and a dedicated RALLY driving mode give the Performante a distinctly more dynamic character.

Weight reduction was another major part of its development. Extensive use of carbon fibre for the bonnet, roof, wheel arches and aerodynamic components, together with a lightweight titanium exhaust system, reduced weight by approximately 47 kg compared with its predecessor.

Lamborghini also substantially revised the aerodynamics, increasing downforce and improving aerodynamic efficiency.

The result is the most focused combustion-engined evolution of the original Urus generation: a Super SUV combining 666 CV, carbon-ceramic brakes, active chassis technology, extensive carbon fibre and genuine supercar-level performance, while retaining the practicality and luxury that made the Urus such a success.
