Description

The long-awaited successor to the 365 GTB/4 Daytona, launched thirty years earlier, the Ferrari 550 Maranello marked the return of Ferrari's tradition of front-engined V12 Grand Tourers. Its name pays tribute to the town of Maranello, home to Ferrari's factory since the company's foundation, while "550" refers to the engine's displacement of 5,474 cc, rounded up to 5.5 litres.

Beneath its long bonnet lies a magnificent naturally aspirated 5.5-litre V12 producing 485 horsepower, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 4.4 seconds. Paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, it delivers one of the purest and most engaging driving experiences ever offered by Ferrari.

The example we are pleased to present is a Ferrari 550 Maranello, delivered new to its first owner in Monaco in May 1999. Today, it has covered just over 44,000 kilometres. This car stands out thanks to its exceptionally elegant specification, combining the rare **Blu Tour de France** exterior with a **Crema** leather interior, complemented by numerous **Blu Scuro** leather details, including the steering wheel, upper dashboard, carpets, A-pillars and headliner. Both refined and timeless, this colour combination is highly sought after by collectors for its rarity.

Originally delivered in Monaco, this Ferrari was subsequently maintained primarily by Ferrari dealerships in London, as documented by its comprehensive service file. Showing a remarkably low mileage, it is offered with its original service book together with an extensive file of invoices covering the past twenty-seven years, providing exceptional traceability throughout its history.

The car is available for viewing by appointment, either in person or virtually, at our showroom. We would be delighted to provide a presentation video as well as a digital copy of its complete history file upon request.

Please feel free to contact us by email or telephone should you require any additional information.
