Description

In the early 1990s, Bob Lutz, then an executive at Chrysler, set out to create a modern interpretation of the legendary Shelby Cobra. The project came to life under the Dodge brand and was unveiled as a concept car at the 1989 Detroit Auto Show. Rather than opting for a conventional V8, Dodge chose a far more distinctive approach by fitting the car with a V10 engine developed in collaboration with Lamborghini. The body was entirely constructed from composite materials and mounted on a tubular steel chassis. The RT/10 featured power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, fully independent suspension and ventilated disc brakes on all four wheels, with RT/10-branded front brake calipers. From the moment it was launched, the Viper earned an immediate reputation for its raw, uncompromising driving experience and spectacular performance.

The example we are pleased to offer is a first-generation (SR1) Dodge Viper RT/10, delivered new in 1995 through Dan Pilson Auto Center Inc. in Mattoon, Illinois (USA). Showing just under 9,900 km (6,100 miles) from new, this Viper represents an exceptionally rare opportunity on today's market. Its remarkably low original mileage has allowed it to remain in outstanding, near-new condition, both cosmetically and mechanically.
Finished in its original and highly desirable « Emerald Green » exterior over a « Tan » leather interior, this Viper presents beautifully throughout. It remained with its original owner until 2021 before joining a private collection, where it continued to be carefully preserved. This example is equipped with a limited-slip differential, a removable rear window and its original 17-inch three-spoke alloy wheels.
The interior features leather bucket seats matched to the dashboard, centre console and door panels. Equipment includes air conditioning, Viper-logo floor mats and the original AM/FM cassette stereo system.
It also, and perhaps most importantly, comes with its complete documentation, including its original owner's manuals.

The vehicle is available for viewing by appointment in our showroom or through a live virtual presentation. A detailed presentation video, along with a digital copy of the complete history file, is available upon request and will be provided with pleasure.
