One of only 137 Vantage X-Pack cars produced
6.3-litre conversion and body kit by Aston Martin Works Service
New sills and bare-metal repaint by R.S. Williams
First unveiled at the 1986 Birmingham Motor Show, the Series 3, better known as the X-Pack, was the ultimate incarnation of the V8 Vantage saloon.
The original factory record confirms that this example was completed in January 1989 and supplied through Reg Vardy. Finished in Royal Blue with Magnolia hide piped Dark Blue and matching Blue Wilton carpets, it remains in this very handsome factory colour combination today.
Its original specification included four twin-choke, downdraught Weber carburettors, a five-speed manual gearbox and a 3.54:1 rear axle. The car was subsequently converted to 6.3-litre specification by Aston Martin Works Service, providing a considerable increase in performance and torque.
R.S. Williams have replaced the sills and the car is currently undergoing a bare-metal repaint in its original Royal Blue. Once completed, the vehicle will be fully commissioned and serviced by ourselves prior to sale.
Showing 48,659 miles, the Magnolia interior is complemented by Dark Blue carpets, finely figured walnut veneers and a wood-rimmed steering wheel.
One of only 137 Vantage X-Pack cars produced, its combination of five-speed manual transmission, Aston Martin Works Service 6.3-litre conversion and recent R.S. Williams bodywork makes this a particularly desirable example.
All sales are complete with a full 12-month parts and labour guarantee. A fine example ready to be driven and enjoyed. Purchase with peace of mind from one of the world’s most renowned Aston Martin experts.
