Description

Introduced in 1986 the Ducati Paso was named after Italian racer Renzo “Paso” Pasolini and was designed by Massimo Tamburini, who later went on to design the Ducati 916 and MV F4. It was one of the first bikes to have a fully enveloping fairing and featured the 748cc V twin Desmo engine from the Ducati 750 F1. Despite the introduction of a 906cc version in 1989 the bikes didn’t sell that well in period but have become quite collectable now due to the unusual design. Offered originally in the only colour of red later models become available in blue and white but are rare. This example was registered new in the Uk 20th Nov. 1990. Having been well looked after over the years it remains in generally good condition and still has its original exhaust showing the Cagiva logo. Showing 20,200 miles it has old MoT’s that go back to 1996 when the milage was 13,434 which would indicate the current milage as correct. With a current MoT until Feb. 2027 it is supplied with a small history file, Uk V5C logbook and a workshop manual.
