I have owned this rare 964 RS Touring (M002) for 10 years (it has been registered with the RS Club of France since then), and I am its second owner.
It's a rare model, as only 65 units were produced!
It's a TRUE RS, identical to the light version (M001) with the same M64/03 type engine, but with comfort features (power steering, air conditioning, electric windows...) that would later be adopted as standard on the following 993 RS.
Nothing to do with an RS America, which is a base Carrera 2, slightly lightened.
In short, it's a pure RS, less harsh than the much more common Leichtbau version. It's just as high-performing but far more usable, while also being much rarer — the best of both worlds, in a way!
Its history is well documented, and I have a complete file of invoices proving consistent, uninterrupted maintenance.
The engine was rebuilt at 197,130 km.
The windshield surround has just been redone at a Porsche center.
4 new tires.
