As is customary in odd years, the Tour Auto Lissac 2005's final destination will be on the Atlantic coast rather than the Mediterranean. Last Tuesday, the train of cars left the Esplanade des Invalides in Paris, to arrive at Biarritz on Saturday 30th April.
The pairing Hugenholtz/Hugenholtz, have already won the event three times (1999, 2000, 2004), and are hoping for the very best possible finishing position this year as Hans personally holds the record of five wins on The Tour.
For the first time, the Tour Auto Lissac will have a special-stage at Pau, using the splendid circuit of Pau-Arnos. Another innovation is that the dinner of the second stage will be done in the centre of a volcano at Vulcania.
