Following the success of the Honda CB750, Kawasaki responded in 1972 with a machine that raised the bar once again: the Z1, later further developed into the Z 900. While the competition had already made a strong impression, Kawasaki went a step further with increased power, double overhead camshafts, and an impressive top speed.

The Z 900 quickly became known as the “King of the Road”—and for good reason. Its combination of performance, reliability, and long-distance capability made it one of the most complete motorcycles of its time.

The inline four-cylinder engine delivered smooth yet powerful performance, while the design was both functional and instantly recognizable. This was a motorcycle that was not only fast, but also perfectly suited for everyday use and extended rides.

This 1975 example has been beautifully restored with respect for factory specifications. The motorcycle presents in a fine condition, has been mechanically overhauled, and performs well. It is also registered in the Netherlands.

A milestone in motorcycling history and an absolute classic within the Kawasaki range.
