The car requires a full mechanical overhaul before road use. The following points have been identified and are disclosed in their entirety:
- Brake system to be fully overhauled.
- Fuel tank requires complete refurbishment (significant oxidation); all fuel lines to be replaced (porous and cracked)
- Shock absorbers to be checked
- Coolant leaks at water pipe connections and water pump
- Complete ignition system to be overhauled: points, leads, plugs and distributors
- Clutch mechanism to be overhauled (slipping)
