All-Terrain Targa
We’ve seen our fair share of mud-hungry Porsches over the years, where noble adventurers have taken their trusty air-cooled sports cars and turned them into all-terrain dirt lovers. With rally foundations rooted deeply in the 911's past, it’s no surprise to see all eras of Porsche’s golden child adapted for off road, but it’s rare to find a Targa sport such a conversion. Starting life as a 911 Targa S from 1977, this example has been treated to Bilstein suspension, off road tyres and a roll cage that has been carefully worked into the Targa bodystyle, making for a truly unique rally-inspired machine!
White Horse
While choosing just one special edition Ferrari can be a task harder than choosing your favourite child, the 360 Challenge Stradale makes a worthy case as being the one to own and admire for decades to come. While most were sold to lucky clients in various shades of Rosso, rare examples such as this stunning Bianco Avus without the tricolore stripe have become a collector’s dream in recent years. Believed to be one of only four stripe-delete Bianco Avus examples in Europe, this example was delivered new to an Italian driver, and the car has since covered a mere 25,900 kilometres since 2004. As values of millennial prancing horses continue to rocket, now is most certainly the time to experience one of Maranello’s most engaging special editions!
Dog Leg Delight
Show us a carbon-clad Koenigsegg and we’ll nod approvingly, share the blistering 0-60 figures of the latest hybrid Ferrari and we’ll mouth a ‘wow’ where needed, but present a perfectly specified 190 E Cosworth to us and there’s a good chance we’ll be weak at the knees. That’s exactly why this 1992 example is, in our opinion, the best optioned 2.5-16 out there. It comes complete with the iconic chequered seats rather than the slip ‘n’ slide leather, the dog-legged manual gearbox over the slushly automatic, and some very subtle modifications that let people know you’re a true DTM connoisseur. The 190 E is one of Mercedes-Benz’s most loved models, a car that redefined affordable luxury and, with the Cosworth-powered 2.3 and 2.5 models, brought with it performance and agility built for the racetrack. Can you tell we are a little bit in love with this thing?
Red Alert
Nothing screamed 1980s excess quite like the Lamborghini Countach; a spaceship for the road that would lay solid foundations for decades worth of models to leave Sant’Agata following the same utterly unhinged mantra. The smells, the sounds, the ridiculous seating position, it all adds to the car’s allure, being built purely to cause a stir no matter where you take it. This example, finished in Rosso Siviglia, was delivered to the UK from new and has since been expertly restored to its former glory, complete with a striking interior that complements the exterior shade perfectly. As icons go, a vibrant red raging bull is just about as cool as it can possibly get!

Marking the absolute final chapter of the Delta's long and trophy-filled history, the Integrale Evoluzione SS is the machine to own if you’re in the market for the ultimate road-going rally icon. It's powered by the same 2.0-litre 16-valve turbo featured in other Deltas, but now pushing 215 horsepower, a figure that may not seem like much by today’s standards, but its responsivity and theatre are what make it truly unforgettable to drive. Recognisable by the unique Rosso Amaranto paint with the yellow and blue stripe, these final 250 examples were built exclusively for the Japanese market because demand there remained prominent, even after production officially ceased in Europe. That makes finding an example incredibly difficult, especially one presented in as good condition as this one!
