Description

• One of only 777 examples ever build
• Original paint (189U Green-Black Metallic) with fewer than 75,000 km
• 6.0L biturbo V12 – 612 hp and 1,000 Nm

There are fast cars, luxurious cars, and then there’s the CL 65 AMG- the one that quietly does both, and better than almost anything else of its era. In the early 2000s, this was Mercedes-Benz’s absolute flagship. Hand-assembled in Sindelfingen and powered by AMG’s legendary 6.0-litre Bi-Turbo V12, it delivered a staggering 612 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque, numbers that even today sound almost unreal.
Only 777 examples were ever produced worldwide, and this car is without doubt one of the finest survivors. Finished in Green Black Metallic (189U), a color that looks deep black until sunlight reveals a subtle emerald shimmer, over an Alpaca Grey and Slate Grey AMG leather and Alcantara interior that suits it perfectly. Originally delivered new to Portugal, it was cared for within the official Mercedes-Benz network before joining its current Belgian owner. Step inside and it’s immediately clear: this is a time capsule. The leather still feels soft and rich, the Alcantara headliner untouched, and every system works exactly as it should, from the ventilated multi-contour seats and Distronic cruise control to the COMAND navigation and KEYLESS-GO. It’s an exceptionally well-preserved example that radiates the quality of early-2000s Mercedes engineering. And of course, the magic lies under the bonnet. The M275 AMG V12 is a true masterpiece – twin-turbocharged, hand-built, and delivering an endless surge of torque. It’s ferocious when you ask for power, yet completely serene when you just want to cruise. This car has clearly been loved. Still wearing its original paint, it presents beautifully inside and out. The service history is spotless, including a major service in March 2024 at Finiclasse Mercedes-Benz covering engine, transmission, brakes, and all fluids. Technical inspections in 2024 and 2025 confirm its excellent mechanical health. Every document, from the service book to the invoices, remains neatly preserved in the original Mercedes-Benz leather folder.
The CL 65 AMG is one of those rare models that true Mercedes enthusiasts are starting to appreciate for what it really is – a milestone car. It represents the last era when AMG built V12-powered flagships entirely by hand, with no compromises and no gimmicks, just pure engineering excellence wrapped in timeless luxury. For the enthusiast who values authenticity, performance and craftsmanship, this is as good as it gets: an original-paint, fully documented, European-spec CL 65 AMG, perfectly maintained and finished in one of the most elegant and striking combinations ever offered.
