Description

Chassis No. JZA80-0029342

Among the titans of Japanese sports cars, the Toyota Supra is deified. Toyota crafted the fourth generation Supra with high-performance drivability at the forefront, angling the cockpit towards the driver and fitting the twin-turbocharged Supra RZ with the now revered 2JZ-GTE inline-six motor. Although factory-rated at 276 horsepower and 318 lb-ft of torque for the Japanese market, the 2JZ-GTE's Hitachi sequential twin turbochargers and overbuilt internals made the Supra a potent platform for horsepower-hungry tuners. The fourth-generation A80 Supra was introduced in 1993 and production ran for ten genre-defining, twin-turbocharged years before this iconic chapter of Japanese performance closed.

The 1995 Supra RZ model featured electric folding mirrors and, to that point, was the only trim to come with a Bilstein double wishbone coil spring suspension. Furthermore, the RZ was offered with either a Getrag six-speed manual transmission with a standard Torsen limited-slip differential, or a four-speed automatic.

This 1995 Toyota Supra RZ is Japanese-market, right-hand-drive example finished in Super White II over a Black upholstered interior. This car is fitted with sportier OEM side skirts, plush cloth Sport seats, wood trim surrounding the gauge cluster and center console, rear window visor, and a seven-speaker Super Live Sound System audio system.

This example was first registered in April 1995 to a private owner in the Chiba Prefecture, where it remained for most of its life until it was acquired by M's Vantec in Gunma Prefecture in early 2021. Prominent Japanese dealership Auto Roman purchased the car in February 2025 and promptly exported it to the United States. It is now offered with just over 63,000 kilometers or approximately 39,150 miles, having been under the care of a private Japanese car collection in Southern California since its import.

The A80 Supra represented the peak of Toyota's performance engineering before the turn of the century and is one of the paragons of Japan's golden era of sports cars. This example offers the quintessential Japanese Domestic Market experience; manual, right-hand drive, and the iconic Supra nameplate that promises high performance and collectability.
