The 280 SE fitted with the 3.5 litre V8 is the ultimate derivative of the model range and valued accordingly today.  As fitted to our example, this fabulous engine is mated to the highly sought-after floor mounted 4 speed automatic transmission. The engine is a by word for refinement and quiet operation, resulting in the best model to be used for long journeys in extreme comfort and luxury.

Our car was comprehensively restored by Australia’s leading Mercedes-Benz restoration company, Sleeping Beauties of Brisbane. This thorough restoration was carried out to the highest possible standard, resulting in a more or less concours condition. Today the car is still in fantastic condition, bearing witness to the standard of work carried out.
