This Maserati Merak SS was delivered new in January 1977 in the USA. It is one of only 312 Merak SS models produced at the time featuring the Bora-style dashboard and conventional (non-hydraulic) suspension.

This Merak SS is matching numbers and is presented in red with a black interior. The paintwork was redone in 2004, along with the seat upholstery and cushions.

The previous owner took the opportunity to smooth the side panels, giving it a subtle Bora look, and fitted it with special bolt-on wheels designed by racing driver Claude Svelig.

The current owner had the entire mechanical system rebuilt over two years (2018/2019) by Isotta, a well-known Maserati specialist in Paris:
