Description

Chassis 9110301003 : The Endurance Veteran

Built in 1970 and delivered new to Porsche works driver Hans Herrmann, chassis 9110301003 exemplifies the rugged spirit of long-distance motorsport. It quickly transitioned into the hands of Swiss privateer Pierre Greub, who campaigned the car extensively throughout Europe between 1971 and 1973.

Racing Highlights :

• 1971 Targa Florio – 8th Overall (Greub & Garant), car #47
• 1971 24 Hours of Le Mans – Entry #35 (Greub & Garant)
• 1972 24 Hours of Le Mans – Entry #44 (Jean Sage)
• 1973 24 Hours of Le Mans – Entry #75 (Greub)

This ST was equipped with the 2.3-liter flat-six engine paired with bosch mechanical fuel injection, producing over 230 horsepower in a chassis weighing just over 930 kg. However later bored to 2.4 liters to remain competitive in the 1971-1973 season. With more than 20 period entries, including Nurburgring, Spa, and Monza. It was not just raced but relentlessly tested under the harshest conditions.

After its competitive life, the car underwent a factory-correct, nut-and-bolt restoration by Roock Sportsystem in Germany. It remains a prime example of a well-documented, Le Mans-proven Porsche ST, complete with its original engine and ready for modern historic events.
