Description
Between 1995 and 2003, Subaru won three constructors' championships and three drivers' championships in the World Rally Championship. In addition to icons such as McRae, Burns and Solberg, the car that took them to the top of the podium also became a cultural icon.
The Subaru Impreza STI was, and is, the 'Holy Grail' of the Impreza range. This STI-S was born in 2010 and is one of the most special Imprezas ever, combining technology and character in an iconic four-door body.
Under the bonnet is the 2.5 Boxer Turbo engine delivering 300 hp and 407 Nm. These figures are enough to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5 seconds, but it is thanks to the three self-locking differentials that the STI reaches impressive speeds in curves and visceral acceleration when exiting them!
Add to this a very agile and safe chassis and the STI is probably one of the fastest cars in the world on a winding road!
Less constrained by environmental standards, this is probably the last Impreza STI with true rally DNA, a car that celebrates the brand's golden years without neglecting the comfort and technology of the 21st century.
This rare example was sold by Subaru Dealer in Lisbon, Portugal, in September 2010 and now has just 32,000 km. It has been carefully maintained, including replacement of the timing belt.
The exhaust silencers fitted are sportier elements with a 'delicious' sound, however the original ones are delivered at the time of sale. It also has a duplicate key, service book and owner's manuals.
