One of the so-called 'N.I.T.' (Not In Tragatsch) little-known makes, the firm founded by Giuseppe Carrù commenced motorcycle production in the late 1940s, its first product being a 175cc two-stroke. A respected sidecar racer, Carrù would go on to develop four-stroke overhead-camshaft racers for both the 250ccc and 500cc categories, one of the later being offered here. He also worked with Mondial and Mi-Val, and was renowned for the qualities of his frames. The history of this machine is unknown. No Documents.

As with all Lots in the Sale, this Lot is sold 'as is/where is' and Bidders must satisfy themselves as to the provenance, condition, age, completeness and originality prior to bidding.
