The company Alpino Motobici Srl, founded in 1946 by Pietro Trespidi, a former Gilera employee, in Stradella, in the province of Pavia, started its business in 1946 with its own production with an auxiliary engine to be applied to bicycles, quickly managed to earn the trust of consumers by offering reliable products and began with the production of the first 50 cc light motorcycles and then increased the displacement to 75 cc with a 2-stroke single-cylinder engine and three-speed gearbox.
