An elegant Californian design

Ferry Porsche developed a brand new sports car, based on the Volkswagen model: the Porsche 356. This model, presented in 1948, was built until 1965 and gave birth to the brand's flagship model: the 911, which was launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1963. The 356 was initially available as a coupé and cabriolet, then as a speedster. The model underwent a number of evolutions, culminating in the 356 Carrera 2000 GS/GT (Fuhrmann-Motor version 587/2 engine with sports exhaust) with 155bhp.

The Porsche 356 Speedster replica we're presenting was built by the Composite Bordeaux workshops. It is powered by a 1300cc engine with twin carburettors, offering a pleasant drive. The speedometer is in kilometres per hour, and the interior features velour and quilted leather seats, as well as full carpet and quilted leather upholstery, for an interior that is both elegant and comfortable. The chassis is made from polyester.

With 63,254 km on the clock, this car has proved a pleasure to drive. Today, it awaits its next owner for new adventures.
