Description
"The Bentley Arnage was launched in 1998, a large luxury saloon car that replaced the previous Bentley Turbo saloon. Built in Crewe from 1998 to 2009, the Arnage and its Rolls-Royce sibling, the Silver Seraph, were introduced in the spring of 1998 and were the first entirely new designs for the two marques since 1980 when the Silver Spirit and Mulsanne models were introduced. The Arnage Green Label was to be powered by the BMW V8 engine with Cosworth-engineered twin-turbo chargers but the Red Label employed the more preferable 6.75 litre Bentley powerplant and was, for a brief time, the most powerful and fastest four door saloon on the market.
Originally registered on 17th March 2000, this one owner Bentley has been largely chauffeur driven from new and has covered only 10,589 miles. The white coachwork is like new and the beige interior can only be described as unmarked. When requested the 6750cc V8 started immediately and ran beautifully, silent and smooth. The gearbox operates as it should and overall this is an exceptional vehicle to drive. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a full year's MoT test certificate, this palace of a motor car represents outstanding value for money."
