The Porsche 911 Carrera RS poster features the iconic classic race car in red. Designed to meet motorsport requirements, the RS featured a larger engine than the standard 911 S, stiffened suspension, and an iconic ‘ducktail’ rear spoiler. In total, 1,580 were made between 1973 and 1974, all of which qualified for the FIA Group 4 class. McLaren approached Unique & Limited to help celebrate the defining moment of James Hunt’s career: the Japanese Grand Prix of 1976, where he secured his only world title. The Ferrari 412P showed strength during the 1967 racing season, unfortunately it found its master during the 24 Hours endurance race of Le Mans, France. Pedro Rodriguez and Giancarlo Baghetti drove it well, however wrong sized piston rings ended the race for the trio sooner than anticipated. The Maserati A6GCS Berlinetta is an automotive work of art. Ironically, however, it was born out of racing frustration. When torrential rains wreaked havoc on the 1952 edition of the Mille Miglia, making handling of previous A6 models a challenge, racing drivers pushed Maserati for improvements. One solution was to fit a Maserati 2000 Sport with a closed “Berlinetta” body from Pinin Farina. The resulting masterpiece was first presented at the Turin Motor Show of 1954. With only four Pinin Farina models ever created, the A6GCS Berlinetta occupies a special place in automotive history.
