Description

A very stylish silver-plated condiment set in the form of three milk churns: salt and pepper pots finely detailed with side handles, and mustard pot with cobalt glass liner and silver-plated spoon. Each element of the set bearing maker's marks CJ & Co. The trio is set within a trefoil stand stamped CHRISTOPHER JOHNSON WESTERN WORKS SHEFFIELD to the underside. English, circa 1940s.
