August 30, 2020 is the 83rd Birth Anniversary of Bruce McLaren! To honour the McLaren GP team founder, and his drive and determination, Automobilist presents the McLaren Papaya - a set of two posters featuring the car from his F1 win at the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit at the wheel of a McLaren. He won only four races in F1, but it was the New Zealander’s skills as an engineer and designer for which he will be best remembered. McLaren progressed from just driving in F1 to building his own single-seaters. His cars were also totally dominant in the CanAm series for several years, with Bruce himself taking many wins.
