Description
In 1969, Ferrari saw a notable downturn in sales. Specifically, 619 vehicles were produced, compared to 729 in 1968 and 706 in 1967. On the competition front, Ford clinched victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, while the highest-ranking Ferrari, the 250 LM from the North American Racing Team, only managed to secure 8th position. Similarly, Ferrari's performance in Formula 1 was lackluster, ending the season in 6th place with just 7 points.
Nevertheless, in March 1970, the printer Poligrafici il Borgo de San Lazzaro di Savena released Le briglie del successo, Enzo Ferrari's autobiography. This exclusive edition spans 272 pages, recounting the narrative of its author and the genesis of the company he established, being unavailable for purchase, serving instead as a bespoke gift bestowed by the Commendatore upon a select audience.
This copy is impeccably preserved, but its most notable feature is that it is signed by Enzo Ferrari.
