Description

Gordon Horner (British, 1915-2006), '1947 Ulster Trophy Race - Ballyclare', an artwork for The Autocar, signed and dated 1947, pen and ink with wash heightened with white on artists' paper, a dramatic scene depicting the start of the race with the eventual winner Bob Gerard and Prince Bira both in ERA B-Types leading away from John Bolster also in a B-Type and Reg Parnell in the ERA E-Type, 45 x 58cm, double-mounted with title for framing.
