AUTHENTIC 17th CENTURY RENAISSANCE FIREPLACE
The fireplace is packed on wood boxes & wooden pallets, ready to be shipped.
Dated from the late sixteenth century and early seventeenth century by Belgian Antiques experts’ report (in French language, original will be supplied at sale).
I'm offering an exceptional authentic Renaissance fireplace that was sitting in one of my family 2nd residences for 51 years, see pic.
My father bought it in the ‘60s directly from a castle under demolition in the Belgian Ardennen, it was a private property nearby Bouillon city.
It is made of Burgundy stone lintel monolith grips lined side bedsteads; sculpted decoration of the plant world inspired headband punctuated
by three rounds shaped leather animated initials (S and two O bound crossed the median of I for cartridge) with ovals friezes and darts and lines of heart;
jambs decorated with female heads supporting sheathed barbarians weight bearing corbels consoles through cushions. Bases and ravens decorated with
acanthus leaves with shells upright espousing these windings.
Sizes are uncommon & massive => height x lenght x large ; in centimeters : 240 x 278 x 81.
Don't miss this opportunity to henance your property, Hotel lobby, family room with such masterpiece !
My fireplace is stored downtown Paris-France at a well known Antic collector warehouse.
More pics under request, no time wasters please !
