Asymmetric, free-formed shell. 5.1 x 33 x 17.3 cm. Cased glass, clear, streaky blue and black powder inclusions, 'Salissures intercalaires'. Fully engraved decor. Motif of an underwater scenery with algae and different shells, snails and engraved air bubbles. At the top of the shell three-dimensional marine snail. Signed: Galle (engraved lettering).
