A trinket box with a bronze-colored hexagonal-patterned covering, with scene of two polo players to the lid. Lined with green Moiré silk. Size: 5.25 x 7.5 x 6 in. (13 x 19 x 15 cm).
Plus, an impressive Sterling silver polo trophy by eminent makers Mappin & Webb. The cup is supported on a tripod of polo mallets, with polo ball beneath, engraved "Uganda Volunteer Reserve, Championship 1921, Won by G.A. Read." English circa 1920. Height overall: 9.5 in. (24 cm). Width: 3.75 in. (9.5 cm).
