Slightly stained label Private collector SF: The greatness of iconic producers such as Bartolo Mascarello is precisely a matter of making great wine in difficult years. 2003 was one of these with problems related to torrid heat, and not only by day, being overcome. Bartolo’s 2003 came from a very hot vintage and it emerged balanced with good alcohol levels and excellent ageing ability. (1 bt)
