Aston Martin DB4 front shroud off famous racing car 358 DLW - wall art or desk?
Year of manufacture1959
This 60 year old front body shroud was taken off what is probably the world's most successfully raced Aston Martin of any era. The car was built in 1959 and began its racing career in 1974 in the hands of Pete Foster. Over the next 40 years 358 DLW gained more podiums than any other Aston Martin from any era. In 2009 Pete sold the car and the front end was changed the next year as it was showing signs of its hard life.
DLW featured in Chris Harvey's book Aston Martin & Lagonda
The shroud has been stripped of its paint and is ready for a creative genius to make something of it.
