A single cylinder de Dion Bouton engine number 5235, circa 1898, believed 1¾ hp with 66mm bore x 70mm stroke, contains timing gear, valve gear, crank, rod and piston, turns over with some compression, matching number case halves, contact breaker assembly missing, some aluminium material removed from crankcase webs to rear, cylinder and head with intact fins.
